2024 Jeep EV SUV, All you want to know & watch about a Great Car
2024 Jeep EV SUV Might Adopt “Jeepster” Name, Will Be Jeep’s First Full-Electric
Looking like a cross between a Renegade and a Compass, it’s the tip of Jeep’s electric spear.
WHAT IT IS:
The only electric model Jeep has shown in its entirety, which might be named “Jeepster.”
WHY IT MATTERS:Â
This not yet officially named compact electric SUV is going to be the first electric Jeep globally, spearheading the brand’s efforts beyond the 4xe plug-in hybrid treatment currently spreading throughout its U.S. lineup. With chubby-cute styling that looks like a Renegade cross-bred with a Compass, it’s clearly aimed at foreign markets. Given how Americans tend to purchase anything with a “Jeep” label on it, they’ll likely flock to this one, too, while hardcore brand aficionados will wait for the electric Wrangler.
PLATFORM AND POWERTRAIN:
Jeep will turn to Stellantis’ STLA Small electric platform for this one; expect dual electric motors to be available (offering all-wheel drive) and styling very close to the yellow concept the automaker has already shown.
ESTIMATED PRICE:
$35,000-$40,000
EXPECTED ON-SALE DATE:

2024 Jeep Wrangler EV: An Overview of What We Know So Far
The Jeep Wrangler is legendary for its off-road prowess, with the ability to traverse all kinds of challenging terrain. Soon, the Wrangler will enter a new era, as the iconic SUV will offer an all-electric powertrain. See what we know so far about the price and specs of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV.
When could the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV be available?
The 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV could be available in early 2024 at Jeep dealerships throughout the United States, as well as in international markets.
How much does the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV cost?
Jeep did not yet release the price information of the 2024 Wrangler EV. However, Car and Driver estimates that the 2024 Wrangler EV will have a starting price of $50,000. The site also gave an estimated cost breakdown of possible Wrangler EV trims:

- Freedom: $55,000
- Sahara: $60,000
- Rubicon: $65,000
- Magneto: $70,000
2024 Jeep Wrangler EV specs: Electric motor performance
In 2021, Jeep unveiled the Magneto, which is a concept version of the Wrangler EV. The Magneto has a unique electric powertrain. It features a 285-hp electric motor, a six-speed manual transmission, and four battery packs. In all likelihood, the Wrangler EV will have a more traditional electric powertrain, with one battery pack, no transmission, and either one or two electric motors. Information about the driving range of the Wrangler EV is not yet known.
2024 Jeep Wrangler EV design: What does it look like?
For both the exterior and interior, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV will probably be very similar to the current-generation Wrangler, as well as the Magneto concept. The Magneto concept features a two-door body style, but we don’t yet know if a four-door version will be available for the Wrangler EV. For an open-air driving experience, the Wrangler EV will undoubtedly have a removable roof and doors.
Will the Jeep Wrangler EV be the first all-electric available?
While the Wrangler EV will be released in 2024, another all-electric Jeep model will be ready before then. Recently, Jeep unveiled teaser images of a yet-to-be-named Jeep EV, set for early 2023. Also, while not fully electric, Jeep already offers electrified models with the Wrangler 4xe and Grand Cherokee 4xe plug-in hybrids.
Additionally, Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, has significant electrification plans across its automotive brand portfolio. The automaker will produce many new electric vehicles in the coming years. Later in 2023, Stellantis will make the Ram ProMaster van available and in 2024, the highly-anticipated Ram 1500 EV pickup truck. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares claims that the Ram 1500 EV will beat other electric trucks for things such as driving range, charging, towing, and payload.

2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Sport Electric SUV Full Review
Last March, Jeep announced that it would launch its first battery-powered electric vehicle, the BEV. Indeed, the plan would be a historic move for the American manufacturer.
Statements from Jeep officials suggest that the electrification transition will begin with the 2024 Wrangler EV after the Jeep EV was officially announced as the second electric model last year in 2024.
This is not the first time Jeep has attempted to build an electric vehicle. The Jeep Wrangler 4Xe Hybrid has been proposed for some time, but the full transition will be complete.
The official launch next year, 2023, will be realized in the first quarter of the year, assuming the launch starts in the last quarter of that year.
We do not expect a revolutionary new design, but it will maintain the Jeep identity of sporty exterior design and will make a difference in terms of engines.
What’s New?
At the time of the launch of the test version, a promotional video was released with lots of details about the car.
The car is able to recognize the most important measurements in its path, both outside and inside the car.
On the outside, it can read the ground and understand the terrain.
And on the inside, with facial and fingerprint recognition, the car can provide enhanced security and a glimpse into the car’s future.
It is hoped that the car’s information system, as well as the driver’s, will have multiple profiles to allow multiple people to drive the car.
Exterior Design
Based on the test version of the electric car, no changes have been made compared to standard gasoline or hybrid vehicles.
The front grille is designed with seven vertical slits, LED lights stacked horizontally, headlights in a classic round design, and fog lights at each end of the lower front bumper.
Beneath the lettering, a powerful black body bulge with cantilevered arms extending to the front tires can be seen.
The hood is a different color than the rest of the body and has vents that do not require an electric motor, an opening that could only be left intact from a sporty design standpoint.
The test car does not have doors, but doors are always provided for electric vehicles.
It has a small rear sun visor and a rear trunk that can be opened and closed with a black handle.
What Are The Interior Features?
The car is a sports car. It has no roof, no doors, and its character is seen in the fact that it seats two people and has only a rear box for seating people or storing equipment.
The car is black with a blue interior, which can be seen on the front dashboard, seats, rear box, and side beams.
The center console features a large TPU navigation screen and air conditioning vents with a classic round design in keeping with the usual Jeep style.
Is The 2024 Jeep Wrangler EV Worth The Price?
With the exception of models with hybrid engines, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler Ev will be offered in five categories, in line with the category names introduced in previous models.
Prices in the Sports category will start at $50,000.
The Liberty category is priced at US$55,000.
Pricing for the Safari category is US$60,000.
The price for the Rubicon category is US$70,000.
The price for the Magneto category is US$75,000

Four additional chassis-mounted battery packs are perfectly balanced with the chassis.
Have you ever heard of a smartphone with a reverse charge feature that transfers battery power to another phone?
This feature will be included in the Wrangler 2024 electric vehicle, which will also be able to charge other vehicles.
The test vehicle is equipped with an electric motor that produces 285 hp and a 6-speed manual gearbox, allowing the driver to experience the thrill of a sports car on public roads.
Expect the engine power to remain the same, but with a battery that can handle varying amounts of electricity usage.
The hybrid version of the Ex4 is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a maximum output of 270 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque.
This is complemented by two electric motors producing 44 and 134 hp and 39 lb-ft and 181 lb-ft of maximum torque, as well as a 14.0 kW battery pack.
