Recreating the Porsche 911 Targa type 964 by doing better than the original, this is the goal of the French company Hedonic Machines with its new restomod project. Unveiled at Le Mans Classic in July 2022, the car that calls itself [H]000 has required no less than three years of work, from design to prototyping to development. The 911 of the early 1990s retains its original line while being modernized.

To create the [H]000, Hedonic Machine completely laid bare the chassis of the 911 Targa type 964. The company says it used “no industrialized process” to design the car, preferring to use advanced craftsmanship, crafts and innovation. The modifications of the body are thus made of aluminum, “with parts formed by hand after making a wooden template”.

The original mechanical key is replaced by a modern remote control that takes the shape of the car. The sound system is replaced by a Devialet Phantom speaker. And to top it off, the cabin comes with a Leica Q2 camera engraved with the name [H]000.
