HONDA E LIMITED EDITION (2022): AN EXCLUSIVE VERSION DUBBED BY MAX VERSTAPPEN HIMSELF
When he’s not driving his car on F1 tracks, Max Verstappen poses alongside the new Honda e special series. The small Japanese electric city car is indeed available in a new version, simply called Honda e Limited Edition. And when Honda says Limited, it’s really Limited: only fifty copies are planned for all of Europe!
It is therefore a real collector that the Japanese manufacturer launches at the beginning of July 2022. In order to differentiate itself from its congeners produced in larger series, the Honda e Limited Edition sports an exclusive body color, called Premium Crystal Red. Based on the high-end Advance finish, the car also sees some of its elements receive a black treatment, such as mirror cameras, sills or even bumpers.
According to Max Verstappen, she is “adorable”
At the front and rear of this Honda e Limited Edition, specific black badges are also affixed. And the city car is perched on 17-inch black alloy wheels. The passenger compartment does not receive any particular modification. Honda simply assures that this edition aims to “offer the most exclusive Honda e experience to date”. Max Verstappen describes the car this way:
The Honda e Limited Edition is simply adorable. It’s stylish, its design is compact, and it’s fun to drive. It is an excellent electric car for the city.
Sold for around €45,000 in France?
As a reminder, the H o n d a e Advance has an electric motor of 154 horsepower for 315 Nm of torque. The block is associated with a 35.5 kWh battery, which allows the car to benefit from a range of 333 kilometers according to the WLTP homologation cycle. The Honda e Limited Edition starts at €38,120, or around €44,435 at the time of writing. The release date in France is not given by the brand.
