Opel Corsa: A special series for the 40th anniversary of the model

CAR The first Opel Corsa rolled off the assembly line in 1982. Today, 40 years and 6 generations of models later, more than 14 million copies have been manufactured. It deserved a special series!

The limited edition “Corsa 40 Years” will only be produced in 1,982 units. It is offered in a new body color called “Rekord Red” which is strongly reminiscent of the red used on the original Corsa A.

Inside, the “Corsa 40 Years” plays the nostalgia card, especially with seats with tartan fabric, but in a modernized interpretation. The marking of the limited series will be just as unique. Each “Corsa 40 Years” will have its own plate numbered from 0001 to 1982, located on the black decoration of the passenger-side dashboard. In addition, like every Opel Corsa, the special model will offer many comfort and safety features as standard.

The list ranges from multimedia systems compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, to electronic driver assistance systems such as frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection or LED headlights. Commercialization is expected in the coming weeks.
