Reims: Crit’Air 4 cars will no longer be allowed in the city centre from 1 September
For the moment, this is an educational phase and no fine will be issued until December 31
Be careful if you want to circulate in the city center of Reims (Marne) at the beginning of the school year. From Thursday, September 1, vehicles with a Crit’Air 4 vignette will no longer be allowed in a low-emission zone, reports France 3 Grand Est.
Motorists have been warned of the measure since mid-August. The Crit’Air 4 stickers apply to diesel vehicles registered before 1 January 2006.

No fine until December 31
For the time being, no tickets will be issued. “As with the ban on the Crit’Air 5 vignette last year, this is an educational phase that will open from 1 September to 31 December. So no fine, “said laure Miller, deputy mayor of Reims. Derogations will be possible from 1 January 2023.
It should be noted that a motorist whose vehicle has no vignette is exposed to a fine of 68 euros.
