Now, shipping and availability is largely dependent on where you’re living. What’s the Difference Between Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S?

If you’re a self-professed gamer, you already know, but if you’re simply checking around the internet for buying advice, this section’s for you. You probably noticed there’s a pretty significant price difference between the two consoles. The Series X has more powerful hardware, more built-in storage, and includes a disc drive that can play 4K Blu-ray. The Series S lacks the disc drive and has less-powerful hardware. However, both machines play the same games (as long as they’re downloaded of course), both systems work with Microsoft’s Game Pass system, and both use the same accessories like controllers.

The biggest difference between the Xbox Series X and Series S is the resolution. The Xbox Series X is capable of 4K graphics, while the Series S tops out at 1440p, or “2K” as some call it. Depending on the size of your screen, this probably won’t even be noticeable.
